The battle reenactments, both by land and sea, will bring to life the British attempt to raid Gloucester Harbor. In addition, there will be a number of civilian programs throughout the day that will bring to life the civilian experience of the American Revolution, with costumed historical interpreters portraying the townspeople who lived and worked in Gloucester in 1775, a period-authentic military encampment, and sutlers selling various historical goods and wares.
